SmartRSI Oversold Condition Overview | Invader Inc.

PreviousOverbought

Last updated 2 years ago

When SmartRSI reaches the green area, this indicates that the asset has entered 'oversold' territory. Once SmartRSI exits the green area, this signals that there is a high likelihood of a price correction.

Readings below 30 indicates that the asset is potentially overbought, and that the downtrend may be weakening. SmartRSI can remain in the oversold zone for extended periods, so traders shouldn't always view it as an automatic buy signal.

Opening a short position when SmartRSI is in oversold territory (<30) can be risky since it's betting against the prevailing momentum and potentially selling at the bottom of a sell-off. It's often safer to consider long positions when in this area.
