The ð· signal can act as an early warning signal of buyers/sellers becoming "greedy", which typically results in a trend reversal. "Greedy" in this case being traders who have possibly overstayed profitable positions even after the price has made a significant move in their favor.
Some traders do this in the hopes of squeezing out more profit, but more often than not, end up panic closing their positions. This sudden buying/selling can create a cascading effect as other traders also begin to panic close their positions, leading to a rapid and significant price movement in the opposite direction.
During a downtrend, the ð· signal can warn traders that bears are getting greedy (relative to chart's timeframe) and/or buyers may be attempting to take control of price action. During an uptrend, it means that the Bulls are getting greedy and/or sellers are attempting to take control of price action.
The ð· signal can also add confluence to a ðŧ or ðŪ signal, acting as additional confirmation of a trend change. Traders can use the ð· signal in conjunction with the ðŧ and ðŪ signals to make more informed trading decisions.
